July 12, 13 & 14, 2010. Greg Best Jumping Clinic.

Greg Best Clinic We are thrilled that Greg Best will be joining us again this year! His clinic last year was a wonderful learning experience for all who participated. Greg Best is known throughout the world for his double silver 1988 Olympic medals and grand prix show jumping. Greg is now sharing his talents with others, coaching at clinics in the United States and New Zealand.

Lessons are 2-hours long and you will be sorted by your individual jumping skill level (2′ for beginners to as high as our riders can go!) One lesson is about $200, but ask anyone who has learned from Greg, and they will all agree that it’s a small price to pay for such a valuable learning experience.

Want to ship in? We offer one-day, overnight, 2-day or longer temporary boarding!

Can’t bring your horse or don’t own a horse? Call in advance for details on borrowing one of ours! (It’s suggested that you take a few lessons with Lisa first to get acquainted with the horse.)

Can’t ride? No problem! For about $40 a day, you’re welcome to audit! The one price covers the whole day; watch any lesson, stay all day and learn the solutions to many

If you would like to join us in July, download and send in the Greg Best Clinic Registration Form, along with the deposit, release and copy of a current Coggins. We look forward to Greg’s return! Hope you can join us!

May 22-23, 2010. Tom Curtin Horsemanship Clinic
Tom Curtin teaches natural horsemanship both on the ground and under saddle. He travels around the country instructing people of all ages, disciplines, and skill levels to better work with their horses. Tom is a master horseman and has successfully trained for many years, from colt-starting to polishing the skills of an adult horse.

From his website: “Tom Curtin is a great teacher who enjoys working with people as much as he enjoys working with horses. In a Horsemanship class, Tom will give the class several maneuvers to work at so that each rider can experience feel, timing, and balance at his or her own level. He tries to help each rider get together with their horse, to become one with their horse, in a quality balanced relationship.” For more information, check out his website.

Clinic prices range from $225-$450 depending on how many days you plan to ride (1 or 2), and the clinic runs from about 9 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon, with a break for lunch around 12 or 1. If you do not own a horse or are unable to bring him/her, you may be able to borrow one of our fabulous horses for the weekend or for a day (call for availability). We also allow short-term boarding if you’d like to ship in! Auditing is around $40 each day for unlimited viewing, and is suggested for parents who’d like to be a part of their child’s learning, beginner riders, or anyone else who would really like to be a part of this awesome event!

Call for details or if you have a question. We’d love to see you!
