Born and raised at Bonnie Lea Farm

All of our babies are people oriented and friendly. They are sensible, sound and without vices. All stand for the farrier and vet, stand tied and load easily onto a trailer. The foals from our farm are well socialized and turnout with several others. All have grown into faithful companions and many into brave show horses!

 

Sagitta - chestnut & white T.B.x Paint, 16h. Father on premises. Sweet girl, brave on the trail and the ring. Shown successfully in hunters and equitation, steady stride, great rhythm, has easy lead changes and smooth gaits. Just Cadence - Dark bay 3/4 Morgan gelding, 5yrs. 15.3h Out of Just In Time, also a B.L.F. foal. Cadence has smooth gaits and an extremely comfortable canter, he’s honest to any jump you steer him toward, and he has solid legs and feet. Cadet’s Dress Code- Morgan/TB cross 2005 gelding, half-brother to Reveille. This handsome boy is just over 16 hh, with strong legs and feet, a beautiful coat and eyes that will melt your heart. “Dressy” is lovable and playful, but when it’s time to get down to riding, he’s all business. He took to the saddle as if he knew if was his time to shine, and he’s quickly becoming quite a fancy guy! Cadet’s Reveille - Reg. Bay Morgan 2005 filly around 15hh. Mother is on premises. Reveille has had lots of ground work including rope halter work and some basic driving, participated in natural horsemanship clinics, and is even being ridden  and jumped in our lesson program! All of the horses shown below are used in our lesson program, so they are people-friendly and are acclimated to different riding levels.

Yippee- brown-and-white pinto Miniature mare. Excellent companion animal, friendly to people and animals, with just a hint of mini ‘tude that you will fall in love with! Yippee has been ridden in our summer riding program and is very careful with children. She has been well-trained on the longe line, and has experience driving. Yippee has good, tough feet, and can live in and outside in all seasons. (Pictures coming soon!) Best offer.

 

Cees Lookin’ Like a Lark-Registered bay Q.H. mare. Granddaughter of the legendary Rugged Lark, and she got all of his best features. This is one fancy lady; she’s been shown locally and out-of-state in Hunters, Equitation, and Jumpers. Has jumped 3′3″, has excellent form, smooth gaits, and beautiful confirmation. $8000.

SOLD!! Cricket- 15.2/15.3 Thoroughbred/Percheron cross, this lovely dark bay mare has the look of a Thoroughbred with the gentle personality and comfort of her draft relations. Cricket is an all-around, do anything horse! At the prime of her youth, she goes on trails, is learning the basics of jumping (and doing very well), and has been ridden by a variety of riders, from our very own students to adult experts. Nikita- White carded pony mare, 14 yrs old. Energetic yet gentle, this sweet girl is used in lessons often and is very well behaved. Smooth jump, floaty trot and looks gorgeous! Has been shown in Children’s Hunters, Equitation, and low Jumpers. She has also been ridden on the trail and in parades. $5000.

Soiree- Registered Appen. Quarter Horse chestnut mare, 6 years. About 16hh. With the tall, fine look of a TB but the strength and dependability of a QH, she is capable of carrying intermediate to advanced riders of any age. Soiree has been ridden in lessons, shown both locally and out-of state and rode with Greg Best in a jumping clinic in 2009. Rides well both in the ring and out on the trail; has jumped up to 2′6″ with beautiful form! $10,000.
