BLF Athletic Equestrian League Team

Upcoming AEL Competition – BLF AEL Invitation Dec 7 2019

BLF now has an Athletic Equestrian League Team. We particularly like the feedback form/score sheet that every rider receives from the judge at every competition. This league also encourages adults to participate.

Here are some details from the website to get started –
Save the Date: BLF AEL Horse Show Saturday, November 11.

In order to participate, riders need to take regularly scheduled lessons and register as a member of the AEL via the AEL website. To join, you need to go to the website and follow the prompts. HOWEVER, you need to speak to Lisa prior to joining the BLF Team, as each rider needs to be placed in the appropriate level.

Riders (and parents/guardians) also need complete copies of the following two documents:
1. Liability Release
2. Athlete Information Form

Each competition has 3 sections for riders. Find details on the tests on the AEL website under the Competitions pull down menu. Riders will also need to be able to access the CHA Composite Manual (available at a discount for AEL members from the CHA. Call 859-2590-3399)

Our team color is navy blue. Riders will need to have long sleeved collared shirts in navy blue. More details to come.

We are very excited about second year with the AEL. It is a great way to have fun and learn.

PLEASE NOTE: After much discussion with our riders, parents and other farms, we have decided to no longer have an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Team as of May 2017.
