Summer Programs filling up!

We are so excited that so many of you are returning this summer. Can’t wait to see you.

If you haven’t sent in your registration, we encourage you to do so soon, as some weeks are beginning to reach capacity. You can find all of the details on our Summer Programs page (link above).

Greg Best Clinic May 2 – 4, 2016

Greg Best is returning May 2 – 4, 2016!

Greg Best is known throughout the world for his double silver 1988 Olympic medals and grand prix show jumping. Greg is now sharing his talents with others, coaching at clinics in the United States and New Zealand.

The first session of the day will start at 7:30 am, followed by 9:30 am, noon and then 2:00 pm. Out of respect for the clinician, all riders must be ready and mounted prior to their start time. You will be grouped with 2 others, according to your level. Some riders choose to ride all three days for a tremendous experience. Please note any time limitations. We will try to schedule you on the day requested and will let you know ASAP if a different day is necessary due to grouping by riders’ levels. Clinic runs rain or shine and Greg prefers to be in the outdoor ring.

Each rider can audit for the full clinic. Each ride includes one free auditor for the day of the ride. Auditing is $30 per day.

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due for each registered ride. Please contact us ASAP for more details and to register, as space is very limited.

United Way Summer Program Assistance

NBUW Campership App for Summer 2016 – Link to Application

The Northern Berkshire United Way is pleased to announce the launch of its summer campership assistance for the summer 2016 season!

This program offers financial support to individual campers through sponsoring agencies, not to camping programs. Although there is not specific income guidelines, it is the programs intention to provide a summer camp experience to local youth who would have otherwise be financially excluded. Preference will be given to sites offering a traditional camping environment. Day and specialty camps are also eligible.

Please complete the enclosed application, with your camp registration form and camp budget to:

PLEASE NOTE that while we will try to meet the need for summer camp scholarships, the funding for this program is limited.

Summer Program Schedule

The Schedule is available!
2016 HORSE & FARM Programs

With growing interest in riding and showing, we are changing our schedule a bit this summer to meet the needs of our current and returning riders. We offer lessons and leasing year-round. This summer will also include 3 weeks of our HORSE PROGRAM and 4 weeks of our FARM PROGRAM, with optional riding lessons for full day farm program participants.

By offering our Farm Program, students can start at a younger age to learn about the skills farmers AND dedicated equestrians (riders) need to be successful. There are numerous competencies that farming and farm animals teach us. Many of our farm program participants go on to learn to ride with greater confidence and skill due to their summer experiences.

At Bonnie Lea Farm, children and teens are compassionate, responsible, confident leaders who learn the farm work ethic.

We believe the true farm experience teaches important values and life skills while having fun. The summer experiences at Bonnie Lea Farm allow complete immersion in the care and nurturing of the horses and other animals that depend on us for survival. For over 40 years, kids have grown up at BLF and love to “come home” as often as possible to reconnect. We look forward to your family joining ours.
